Good Stuff celebrates 1st birthday

Edinburgh Social Enterprise Network is delighted to celebrate a year of the ‘Good Stuff’ with our members, funders and partners. The event on Thursday 2 November was a celebration of our members and their successes in building partnerships and taking advantage of the new market opportunities we have worked hard to create.

As well as looking back, we’re excited about the future, as we continue to encourage anchor institutions and corporate businesses to engage social enterprises as part of their supply chains and create positive change.

The great work of our community partners this year have collaborated to foster increased economic impact towards Scottish Government’s community wealth building initiatives.” James Wood, CEO, ESEN

Good Stuff is happening in Edinburgh and by joining, our community businesses and organisations across the city can become part of it.

Fantastic event speakers included:
• Rachel Sedman from Fountainbridge Canalside Community Trust (www.instagram.com/fcctedinburgh/) talking about how partnership working helped them put on their hugely successful Canal Festival.
• Ian Gray from Social Print & Copy sharing the story of the growth of their business and the decisions they’ve taken that have enabled them to grow rapidly and become something of a flag bearer for this partnership approach.
