Brave Strong Beautiful is the first Social Enterprise Hairdressing Community Interest company in the UK, set in the heart of Edinburgh and Leith community. They are a community interest company investing in the future of young people. Hair is their passion and along with delivering quality hairdressing and beauty services they offer opportunities for young people to study towards an svq2 in hairdressing delivering extensive, ongoing education. They understand that young people also need additional support, and that good mental health is important to ensuring a young person stays on track, that’s why in their Hair Salon they provide additional wellbeing services. Their social mission is to support young people who come from disadvantaged backgrounds to gain employment while providing quality hairdressing and feel supported and understood within the process.
